This also gives owners of the PP Cruiser a way of checking the integrity
of the welds on the craft during an annual inspection after hard
landings, or an accident. A welded fuselage eliminates the need for bolt holes,
which cause weak points in the airframe. Where there is a bolt used on the
Cruiser the area is
sleeved, and the bolts and nuts are recessed helping to prevent injury to
pilot or passenger from bolts heads and nuts.
Standard features on the Cruiser included a powder coating airframe,
shock over A frame, front fender, Rotax 65 hp engine with an E drive
giving you an electric start plus pull start capability, a 10 gallon
aluminum powder coated full tank with a sump, electronic and site fuel
gauge, hydraulic suspension system, and the EIS engine information system
with a GPS.
The craft uses a castering nosewheel, standard ppc controls, push left
to go left right to go right with a left hand throttle, and comes ready to
fly from the factory.
