The Ultra-Pup first introduced in 1990 is a tandem seating two place, with standard stick and rudder controls. It is a tail dragger, with the engine located out front.

Construction is a welded 4130 steel fuselage, and tail section mated to an all aluminum wing. Covering materials are standard aircraft covering.

Approximately 100 craft are currently flying. Though not aerobatic the company reports testing to +6 and -3G's.

  • It features a welded steel fuselage, aluminum wings, the craft is covered in conventional aircraft covering materials.

  • Options include 4 cycle TEC engine, electric start, folding wings, hydraulic brakes, instruments, tundra tires, wheel pants, floats, wing tanks, fibreglass wing tips, cabin heat, skylite, door and window kit, prop spinner.

The Ultra-Pup uses the "Preceptor Gold" 4 stroke 65 and 70 VW conversion engine for power. With 70 horses cranked to its limits climb comes in at over 1000 feet per minute, while backing down on power to cruise will bring the airspeed indicator back to 90 m.p.h.
 Stall with flaps comes in at around 38.
Cabin width is a comfortable 25 inches.
