The retract system is a simple single lever setup,
release and push forward to put the gear down release the lock, lift up
and lock.
The craft comes ready to fly and is available with several wings with
the 15 meter wing being the faster. Power is supplied by the Rotax 65 hp
582 with tests currently ongoing on the 65 hp Hirth engine, which
according to the distributor is a lighter, and simpler installation.
When ready to fly the craft climbs out with the 15 meter wing at around
750 feet per minute, and cruises at 55 to 60 mph.
A 30% increase is thrust is experienced when the engine is equipped
with the COAX-P 3.7 to 1 reduction drive rather than a Rotax C or E drive.
The reason for this is that the COAX-P gives total center line thrust
because it uses two counter rotating blades which eliminate "P" factor.
The unit was originally developed for para-gliders, is extremely quiet,
and comes standard with an electric start built in. There are a number of
units flying in Europe, and one in Austria currently has over 200 hours on
