The award-winning REMOS G-3 Mirage is
manufactured in Bavaria, Germany, by the REMOS Aircraft Company.
The
REMOS G-3 Mirage has been manufactured since late-1997 and over 120
are now flying in Germany and other countries in Europe where
they are used in many flight schools and for glider-towing, as
well as for recreation and travel purposes by private owners.

The REMOS G-3 Mirage
was introduced to the United States at Oshkosh 2002 (July 23rd-30th, 2002.
REMOS G-3 Mirage features and equipment . . .
- two-seat (side-by-side), tricycle-gear aircraft with full suspension
- carbon-fiber construction
- folding wings (for transport or for storing aircraft in tight
spaces!)
- wide, roomy cockpit (cockpit width 46.8")
- new aircraft graphics design for 2002!
- comfortable adjustable seats, with four-point seat/shoulder
harnesses
- powered by the Rotax 912S, 100 hp four-cylinder, four-stroke engine
with gearbox "clutch" standard equipment
- stainless steel exhaust with after muffler for additional noise
reduction
- special air box design with carb heat system
- upper cowling has access door for easy checking of oil or water
level
- upper and lower cowlings are quick-removable with 1/4-turn aircraft
fasteners
- steerable nosewheel with front suspension and wheel pant, with
"security geometry" design
- aerodynamically-shaped composite main gear with wheel spats
- Matco hydraulic disk brakes on main wheels, with parking brake
- cabin heater, special ventilation system and pop-out vents, on both
door windows
- exceptional visibility with tinted windscreens made of special
aircraft-optical acrylic with large skylight
- gull-wing doors that are quick-removable for flying without
doors
- special fittings allow doors to stay up easily, for easy ingress and
egress
- can be flown with doors open in flight (up to 65 mph)
- manual flaps and electric elevator trim
- PTT switches in both control sticks
- large instrument panels with plenty of room for avionics
- special door locks
- good luggage storage capabilities
- fuel filler cap conveniently located (no climbing on ladders
necessary!)
- standard equipment includes deluxe instrumentation including:
airspeed indicator, vertical speed indicator, precision 0-20,000'
altimeter, compass, slip indicator, electric fuel gauge, and Rotax
FlyDat digital engine monitoring system (provides rpm, water
temperature, four EGT temperatures, oil pressure, and oil temperature)
- set-up for easy installation of the optional BRS aircraft recovery
system
- the REMOS G-3 Mirage is a factory-built aircraft, test-flown
in Germany and again in the U.S., and delivered ready-to-fly!
